I love this book! It comes with swatches of fabric you can feel and it is the perfect book to learn a little bit more on the types of fabrics out there. I keep it next to me when I shop online for dressmaking fabric!
As a woman who owns oodles of textile books, this is one of my favorites. Not the most comprehensive collection of textiles out there, but the fact that the samples are undyed is more valuable than you might expect. You tend to get a better feel for the textiles than I expected, it gives a neutral playing ground for the fabrics and allows a quicker identification. Worth the money, which in my book is rare for textile publications.

This is fantastic book for whom is interested in textile learning.I use it as one of my teaching materials.A great variety of the swatches.One small suggestion:replace some of swatches with real content of fiber/yarns.
